# Features of $ECI Token

### **Staking** <a href="#id-3sa98l1c1fd5" id="id-3sa98l1c1fd5"></a>

ECI allows users to stake their $ECI to earn more token rewards. Also, the staking mechanism is one of the major ways the project intends to reduce its circulating supply. This reduction in circulating supply will create the scarcity needed to increase the demand for the token. Ultimately, the increased demand will drive the price of the $ECI token up.

The table below shows details of staking durations and rewards.

| Duration | Reward (In Annual Percentage Yield) |
| -------- | ----------------------------------- |
| 2 Weeks | 5% APY |
| 3 Weeks | 10% APY |
| 4 Weeks | 20% APY |

### **Burn Mechanism** <a href="#ggaf4me5an3r" id="ggaf4me5an3r"></a>

Euro Cup Inu has a periodic burning mechanism that allows it to burn a certain percentage of $ECI tokens. This periodic burning will reduce the number of $ECI tokens in circulation, increase demand, and increase its price.

### **Buy and Sell Tax** <a href="#jgqeb1c8x717" id="jgqeb1c8x717"></a>

Euro Cup Inu members pay a 5% tax on all buy and sell transactions on the betting platform. This 5% tax is re-distributed to the community and used for other community projects.

Below is a table showing details of the 5% tax distribution.

| Percentage Allocation | Purpose |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| 1% | Liquidity pool to ensure market stability |
| 4% | Community developments, marketing needed to support the growth and sustainability of the ECI ecosystem, and $ECI token buyback |
